It’s been one full year, since my last post. And to be honest… it feels great. I took break just when my wedding planning required a ramp up. You see, I was procrastinating for close to a year (coordinating several weddings for other brides-to-be, by the way) and it finally hit me that I only had five months to make my dream wedding a reality. It also didn’t help that my work life was getting just a tad bit demanding. And, if you know me, I’m all about maintaining a well-balanced work/life. At the end of the day, I found very little time to devote to this happy little corner of the ‘net I created. It was becoming a burden and that wasn’t the reason why I first started to blog back in 2010.
Things have definitely changed over the past year — for both me and the blogging world. I’ve started to cross off all the places I’ve wanted to visit and my travel plans include a healthy dose of weekend getaways and memorable international trips.
I’ve also noticed that most of my favorite bloggers now curate the majority of their content through social media. While I can’t promise I’ll live on those platforms 24/7 (like many ladies whose been lucky enough to create a business through blogging), every post will be purposeful and add some value to your life. This new take will not be about me, but rather on those treasures I have a knack for finding. No more fluff. Just the goods in a sweet, digestible post. I’ve even started a new Twitter and Instagram account, so I can have a dedicated place to let you in on all the fun!
I decided to re-launch my blog with a re-brand that is more me… spontaneous and a cool ocean breeze. It’s already starting to feel like home. I hope you’ll join me on this new ride.
Welcome back to blogging.
