If you’re as BIG of a Disney fan as I am, you’ll love this new exclusive collection that recently launched at Forever21, celebrating Mickey Mouse turning 90 years old. The price point is pretty reasonable and I was impressed with the quality of all pieces. I can’t wait to wear my picks to the parks once the temperature gets a bit cooler in Florida.
When you live in Florida, it’s difficult to ever think you have enough swimsuits! In fact, I typically stock up on a few each year. ‘Tis the season for spontaneous trips to the beach and Saturday pool parties, when the weather is just about that perfect temperature to lay out on the pool deck or escape to the Gulf coast with family and friends.
Ladies, I’m writing this post as I sit under my big, blue cabana on the beach (thank God for technology), because I’m so excited to share my Opalhouse purchases from Target. If you haven’t heard, Opalhouse is Target’s newest home brand, designed to make any girl feel like an interior designer. All pieces can be mixed and matched and there’s a little something for everybody. The two collections are very reminiscent of Anthropologie –eclectic, colorful, unique pieces inspired by travel… but with a more wallet-friendly price tag.
Like many of you busy ladies, I do a lot of shopping on Amazon. For the most part, the prices are better than what I find in stores and if you have an Amazon Prime membership, you can get most things delivered in two days for FREE – It’s the perfect excuse to pile my favorites into the shopping cart! I not only shop for those cute must-haves, but I often find myself ordering household supplies like laundry detergent and garbage bags because it’s so convenient. Watch out Target!
It’s been one full year, since my last post. And to be honest… it feels great. I took break just when my wedding planning required a ramp up. You see, I was procrastinating for close to a year (coordinating several weddings for other brides-to-be, by the way) and it finally hit me that I only had five months to make my dream wedding a reality. It also didn’t help that my work life was getting just a tad bit demanding. And, if you know me, I’m all about maintaining a well-balanced work/life. At the end of the day, I found very little time to devote to this happy little corner of the ‘net I created. It was becoming a burden and that wasn’t the reason why I first started to blog back in 2010.
