When you live in Florida, it’s difficult to ever think you have enough swimsuits! In fact, I typically stock up on a few each year. ‘Tis the season for spontaneous trips to the beach and Saturday pool parties, when the weather is just about that perfect temperature to lay out on the pool deck or escape to the Gulf coast with family and friends.

How do you shop for a mama who has everything? I ask myself this question each and every year. Since I learned almost everything I know about fashion from my stylish mother, I tend to have an idea of what she’ll love. To make things easy for you, I pulled together a compilation of gift ideas I had on my list that will likely make your mama smile too. Click on the images below to shop!
Ladies, I’m writing this post as I sit under my big, blue cabana on the beach (thank God for technology), because I’m so excited to share my Opalhouse purchases from Target. If you haven’t heard, Opalhouse is Target’s newest home brand, designed to make any girl feel like an interior designer. All pieces can be mixed and matched and there’s a little something for everybody. The two collections are very reminiscent of Anthropologie –eclectic, colorful, unique pieces inspired by travel… but with a more wallet-friendly price tag.
UPDATE: Target is hosting a buy 1, get 1 50% off shoe sale! Offer ends on March 31 at 11:59pm PT. No code needed.
The best thing about the change in seasons, is the excuse to update my wardrobe — that includes the shoe closet. Every year around this time, I search for a few pairs of Spring and Summer-appropriate shoes that can style nicely with my favorite skirts, dresses and [now] rompers during the warmer months. I typically stay way from suede or anything that would be problematic during the frequent Spring showers! In Florida, we can expect there to be at least one each and every day. The worse feeling, is being suck in your car or at the office because you don’t want to get your shoes ruined during the rain fall.
